Frequently asked
Loop Remote can't find my Apple TV. What should I do?+
Make sure your iPhone and Apple TV are on the same Wi-Fi network and that Local Network access is enabled for Loop Remote in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network. Then re-open the app to rescan.
Pairing keeps failing.+
Restart both devices, then open Loop Remote and tap your Apple TV in the list. When the four-digit code appears on the TV, type it in the app. If it still fails, forget the device in Settings → Devices and try again.
Does Loop Remote work with older Apple TVs?+
Loop Remote supports Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K running tvOS 14 or later. Older models (3rd generation and earlier) are not supported.
Does it collect any data about what I watch?+
No. Loop Remote does not collect, transmit, or store information about your viewing or app usage. See our privacy policy for details.
Can I use Loop Remote on iPad or Apple Watch?+
iPad is fully supported. An Apple Watch companion is on our roadmap and will arrive in a future update.
Status
Loop Remote runs entirely on-device, so there's no service to go down. If the App Store is experiencing issues, check Apple's System Status.
