Loop Remote is built with a single principle: your data is yours. The app is designed to operate entirely on your device and your local network. We do not run servers that collect, store, or process your personal information.
What we don't collect
Loop Remote does not collect personally identifiable information. We do not require an account. We do not track which apps you open on your Apple TV, what you watch, or how often you use the remote. There is no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics.
Local network access
To control your Apple TV, Loop Remote uses Apple's MediaRemote framework over your local Wi-Fi network. Pairing happens directly between your iPhone and your Apple TV. Commands never leave your home network.
Diagnostics
If you opt in via iOS Settings, Apple may share anonymized crash and performance diagnostics with us through App Store Connect. These reports contain no personal data and are used only to fix bugs.
Children
Loop Remote is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app's release notes.
